Cambridge ICT Starters

The Cambridge ICT Starters is a Pupil Certification Scheme designed by University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), a division of the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES). Danawa Resources is authorised by CIE to offer the Scheme in Malaysia. CIS is predominantly aimed at pupils’ aged from 6 to 17 i.e. from kindergarten to Form 5.

CLAiT – International

The CLAiT qualification has been the leading IT skills qualification in the UK since 1987, and has been achieved by over 2.5 million learners. CLAiT – International will follow an identical syllabus and use the paper based assessments that are used for CLAiT in the UK. It is a package of three qualifications which help learners of all abilities to develop their IT skills.

Intel Learn Program

The Intel® Learn Program extends learning opportunities beyond the classroom, using an engaging, project-centered approach. The program helps young people in developing communities around the world to develop skills and make connections that enrich their lives and prepare them to succeed in the knowledge economy.

Intel Classmate PC

The Intel Classmate PC (CMPC) program provides purpose-built machines designed by Intel Corporation to offer computing mobility to our children. The Intel CMPC devices are tailored to suit students to equip them with the necessary skills to compete in a technologically-driven society.

OLPC

Danawa is also involved in the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) project for rural schools in Sarawak. OLPC is a worldwide non-profit organisation which provides each child with a rugged, low-cost, low-power, WiFi enabled PC developed by Media Lab and loaded with content and software which lets them undergo self-empowered learning.
